There are two pick-up locations in Galway. Galway city centre (Eyre Square)
and Galway Airport are where you can collect your car (from Budget).
Galway is a popular spot with tourists due to its seaside location and compact
city centre, bustling with shops, restaurants and pubs. There is lots of heritage in the city with
the Cathedral and old University providing spectacular archaeology. The county of Galway has a few
big towns such as Tuam and Ballinasloe, both worth a visit in their own right. Heading out towards
Clifden through Connemara is a must due to the breathtaking scenery. Galway is also close to other
parts of the West of Ireland including counties Mayo and Clare, each with their own uniqueness and
attractions.
